Om Twiggy


Jag var med när Twiggy föddes hemma på Applejack's och fick själv välja ut henne. Tack MaiLis och Christer! En bättre vän kunde jag aldrig fått.

Twiggy var min trygga punkt i tillvaron under många år. Hon följde mig i vått och torrt. Hennes vackra ögon och tillgivna väsen gömmer jag för evigt i mitt minne. Twiggy hade det perfekta labradortemperamentet, som alltid kommer att utgöra måttstocken för mitt framtida avelsarbete.

Mellan Twiggy och mitt äldsta barnbarn Benjamin fanns ett alldeles speciellt samförstånd. Hon hade alltid funnits där och kommer säkerligen att prägla hans syn på hundar under resten av livet.

Alexandra, mitt andra barnbarn, var bara drygt 1 år när Twiggy slutade sina dagar. Hon tog sina första stapplande steg med ett stadigt grepp på Twiggys rygg. Alexandra föredrar labradorer framför andra hundar verkar det som. - En klok liten tjej.
